*1883 - On the 28th April, at St. James', Kidbrook, by the Hon. and Rev. John Harbord, Herbert George, youngest son of the late Edward Middleton, of Lee Road, Blackheath, to Eleanor Charlotte, only child of the late Thomas Blakeley, of Canterbury. (London Bicycle Club Gazette, Vol 6)
HIGH STREET, CANTERBURY (1861) No. 39 Thomas BLAKELEY, Grocer and Cheese Monger, husband to Eleanor Thomas was born in Bowers (?) Essex and Eleanor in Colchester Essex, their daughter Eleanor Charlotte was born in 1853 in Canterbury it was possible that Thomas was living in High Street, Braintree, Essex in the 1850's working for himself as a Grocer, he was single
