The houses were built in 1825/30 and torn down in 1978

Cases of measles attended to in an epidemic of this disease in Union Row, St. Pauls, Canterbury during 1852 by G. Rigden, Esq. (138 cases total in the city)

15 cases were fatal - one in Union Row, St. Pauls, Male 1 year, death May 11th, Nature of District - Unhealthy AMJ

Originally built prior to 1702 as five properties, rebuilt as five properties and 2 hop oasts in 1721, rebuilt as three by Edward Hayward 1721-44, by 1747 reconverted to 3; rebuilt by Joseph Fairbrass, bakehouse, stable and coach house built by William Horn 1822 CCA
