"Mr. Robert Tassell, M.R.C.S.E., L.A.C. London, was appointed Surgeon to St. Augustine's County Prisons, Canterbury, on the 28th June last, the post being rendered vacant by the death of Mr. D. B. Major." The Medical Times and Gazette 1861 *1861, 8 St. Margaret's street Robert Tassell (age 35) with his wife Ann M. Tassell (age 26) with a housemaid, domestic cook and Groom - Richard Sladden. Married 1857 in East Ashford, Kent to Ann Maria Harvey.

The Medical Times and Gazette 1861 - in Tamworth, Staffordshire in 1871, boarding with a family, Edwards Father John Callaway was the Postmaster in 1851
